Clinic Hours for First-visit and Revisit patients

First-visit patient

Monday to Thursday, 8:30 to 11:00 a.m.

*Due to test schedules, please visit on Tuesday or Thursday as far as possible.
Revisit patient
 By appointment only; the day varies depending on the attending physician.

 Please bring a referral letter from your family doctor as far as possible.

The Cardiovascular Medicine Outpatient Department

循環器内科外来
  1. The outpatient department is staffed by 10 physicians who are cardiovascular specialists.

  2. We provide medical care for persons affected by all kinds of cardiovascular (heart and blood vessel) diseases including angina, myocardial infarction, hypertension, cardiomyopathy, valvular disorder, heart failure, arrhythmia, and aortic disease. We also care for all those persons who have symptoms such as “chest pain”, “palpitation”, “breathing difficulty” and “blackout”, but are not sure whether or not they have cardiovascular disease.


  3. . Our outpatient department is equipped to conduct not only routine tests but also specialized cardiovascular tests such as stress electrocardiography (ECG), echocardiography (heart ECHO), Holter ECG, and stress myocardial scintigraphy.

  4. Our department is promoting “shared care”, which means that your family doctor and our cardiovascular physician will collaborate to give you the best care. In principle, we ask your family doctor to continue giving you drug treatment, while our attending cardiovascular physician will see you when you visit due to a change in condition (for example, worsening of angina or arrhythmia) and during regular follow-up
