研究内容概説ーWntと女性ホルモン(エストロゲン)の協調的な情報伝達系は様々な細胞種で検討されているものの、細胞内の直接的な相互作用分子は不明であった。本論文ではある種の大腸ガン細胞や乳ガン細胞でエストロゲンレセプター(ERα)とWntシグナルの下流と考えられるss-cateninが複合体形成することを、細胞および個体レベルで証明することに成功した。
