Our neurosurgical treatments are evaluated to be No.2 in Japan by a commercial magazine,Supplement of Takarazima. The ranking is estimated by seven items as follows;
surgical operation results, patient's satisfactions, grade of inform, careful nursing, post operational intensive care, rehabilitation, and most notably, superior results in acoustic neurinoma which were by far the most highly evaluated among all facilities. Prof. Sasaki performed extirpations of acoustic neurinoma as many as 238 cases, and statistics also show that surgical death is 0%, facial paralysis is 3% and listening loss is only 48%. He advocates the importance of leadership as a top and the efficiency of on-the -job training to educate successful surgeons-to-be.
