Mission of the Department
Our mission is contributing to society through the education of preventive. In the medical school education, we emphasize an importance of preventive medicine through deep understanding of the current state of public health activities in Japan and the world. In the research activity, we contribute to health promotion and disease prevention in the region and world by epidemiological studies.
