Research Interests
We mainly conduct multi-center clinical research using real-world data (RWD), such as electronic medical records, and also explore the utilization of personal anonymized processed data under the Next Generation Medical Infrastructure Law. Furthermore, for the social implementation of personalized medicine, we are tackling the construction of a new data analysis infrastructure enabling both identifiable and anonymized data usage by obtaining e-consent while developing human resources to appropriately utilize such medical RWD in research, clinical, and preventive fields.
Contents of Teaching
Systematic process of selecting the appropriate data analysis infrastructure, research design, and analytical methodologies for each research topic followed by actual analysis
Research Themes
Clinical research based on medical RWD analysis infrastructure such as electronic medical record big data (e.g., MID-NET® and Clinical Research Core Hospital Network) and anonymously processed data under the Next Generation Medical Infrastructure Law
